    This uniquely formulated Berry flavoured, plant-based branched-chain amino acid blend combines the herbal properties of Alfalfa, wildcrafted Rose Hip and Nettle leaf with a complex protein profile including L-Glutamine, L-Lysineand L-Methionine, Magnesium (Mg) and all-natural Gamma Oryzanol.This synergistic combination of amino acids and minerals provide comprehensive support to the equine skeletal muscular system reduces muscle soreness and increases connective tissue repair after exercise.

    You do not have to remember to feed it before or after exercise, just pop it in their hard feed to make life a little more simple.

    ESSENTIAL INGREDIENTS FOR HORSE PROTEIN SUPPLEMENT:

    Alfalfa, Rose Hip and Nettleherbal powders have been used for centuries to support overall well-being, natural protein synthesis and energy production.

    L-Glutamine is the most common amino acid found in muscles; over 61% of skeletal muscle is Glutamine, which serves as the primary transporter of nitrogen into equine muscle cells. Glutamine levels deplete substantially during intense training, which decreases strength, stamina and recovery.

    Gamma Oryzanol is an all-natural component derived from Rice Bran that is popularly used among athletes to boost strength, increase muscle gain and enhance muscle recovery.  Another study looking into the effects of Gamma Oryzanol supplementation on the reproduction in stallions suggested that Gamma Oryzanol increased the total antioxidant potential of the semen. In addition, higher membrane functionality and motility were detected, possibly due to antioxidant protection preventing lipid peroxidation of sperm membranes or attributable to improved membrane fluidity.

    L-Lysine is an essential amino acid that plays a significant role in muscle development and is often deficient in a forage-only diet.

    L-Methionine is necessary for the production of creatine, a nutrient found in muscle tissue.

    Magnesium (Mg)is an essential mineral for muscle function and repair.

    Hemp Meal replaces any cereal meal or lucerne meal used in other supplements increasing the amino-acid profile, making for happy tummies and a boost hair, hoof and skin integrity.

    How to Use

    We have size options currently:

    3kg pack which is approximately 100 serves or

    900g pack approximately 30 serves

    The 900g pack is great to pop on a subscription to arrive once a month. 

    The 3kg pack is also available for subscription  and you have the option to have it come every 30, 60 or 90 days

    FEEDING GUIDELINES:

    Maintenance DAILY Serve:

    15g - Ponies and horses (200kg-400kg)

    30g - Average Size horses (400kg-600kg) 

    45g - Large Size horses (600kg and over) and high-performance horses.

    60g - Racehorses

    In severe cases where you are building muscle or repairing muscle wastage, administer the recommended initial loading serve for four weeks before returning to the maintenance dosage rate.

    Initial LOADING Serve:

    25g - Ponies and horses (200kg-400kg)

    50g - Average Size horses (400kg-600kg) 

    75g - Large Size horses (600kg and over) and high-performance horses.

    100g - Racehorses

    FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS:

    Mix well with feed once a day or divide Daily Serve into morning and night feeds for more efficient mineral absorption.

    The blend is very palatable, we have added a berry flavour to ensure that horses enjoy the flavour.

    STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS:  Store at room temperature out of direct sunlight and free from moisture.  Ensure the pouch or container is resealed after use as exposure to air may cause the product to harden.
